BEYOND THE SURFACE
Miracles are what Linda Rowe Thomas' dreams are made of. The Texas born, self taught designer and mother of two,
miraculously survived a house fire at the age of two years old which left her facially scarred and without the full functions of her left hand.
However, she has not allowed those injuries to handicap her dreams or to be a platform for her talent. Instead, she has created her own
opportunities for over 15 years in the fashion industry by working in management for notable fashion powerhouses.

With the congenital desire to redefine glamour, Linda Rowe Thomas founded her company
Romás by Linda Rowe Thomas. Eight years
later, she made her grand entrance into fashion's mainstream by debuting the Romás collection at the Designer's Choice Fashion
Preview alongside
Project Runway finalist Korto Momolu.

On September 13, 2010 Romás debuted at
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and received highly acclaimed reviews. The star studded
runway show was styled by celebrity stylist
René Garza and included Alex McCord of RHONY and Furonda Brasfield of ANTM Cycle 6.
The Fall/Winter 2011 collection was inspired and cosponsored by
Godiva Chocolatiers. Since her debut at Mercedes Benz fashion week,
Thomas' designs have graced the red carpet at the
Gospel Stellar Awards, the Golden Globe events, the 2011 ESPY'S and have been
worn by many celebrities including actress
Kellita Smith, Kathy Jordan Sharpton,  Dawn Neufeld of VH1's Football Wives, WNBA
champion Candice Wiggins
and more. Thomas was mostly recently featured in the Celebrity Fashion Experience II in Dallas, Texas
alongside
Project Runway’s Nicholas D’Aurizio and celebrity designer Oscar Fierro. Thomas’ remarkable story was featured on CW33
KDAF
by Toni Duclottni.  Linda was named among the 2011 Trendsetters and named “One to Watch” by the New York Examiner.
Thomas' designs were recently featured in
Heart and Soul June/July 2011 issue worn by WNBA champion Candice Wiggins and the
September issue of New York’s premiere fashion magazine
Ouch, featuring model Ann Hall.

Thomas skillfully practices the lost art of haute couture, designing and sewing each piece of her collection by hand.  It is evident that
Thomas’s self cited muse, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, is revered through her designs.  Linda Rowe Thomas masterfully exemplifies
the importance of emphasizing sophisticated elegance— timeless classics and contemporary style. Romás offers unique style, original
content and natural appeal which highlights individuality for the wearer and the artistic imagination of the designer.

In addition to her invaluable fashion contributions, Linda Rowe Thomas is author of the fictional novel entitled
Mocha and she is also a
motivational speaker. Her visible activism shows that she is fervently dedicated to causes greater than herself. The tragic accident that
affected her as a toddler has served as the foundation for Thomas’s unwavering confidence and poise. She passionately serves as a
counselor and committee member for
Camp Sunshine, an organization assisting young burn victims. Thomas continues to be an
advocate for others. Through partnership with
Arkansas Children's Hospital and The Arkansas Fire Fighter's Association, she founded
Designing Hope, an annual fashion fundraiser benefiting burn survivors.

Since the age of six, Linda was sure that she would always be here and has continually evolved with grace and dignity. This starlet is
ready to take the throne among some of the world’s most noble fashion designers.

Watch her work. Lights...Camera...Fashion!
